The Fourth of July is characterized by spending time with friends and family, eating delicious barbecue and, of course, fireworks. But no matter how you spend Independence Day this year, it is wise to make sure you wear light, breathable clothes that show the patriotic colors while still being fashionable. Here are some ideas for a stylishly casual Fourth of July for you and for the guys.
The outfit
Rompers looks great on all body shapes, and this Olivaceous version has a nice bright blue and white print that can definitely be worn on other occasions.
If you prefer solid colors, the following Zara dress is nothing but chic simplicity on a hot summer day.
The shoes
If you are doing a lot of walking or party-hopping during your celebrations, sticking with a lower heel isn’t such a bad idea. These Tory Burch flats can also be a great day to night shoe.
The statement accessory

These bold shape Wildfox sunglasses are right on point for this summer. The pearly white marbleized finish give them a very feminine ’60s-inspired touch.
For guys – The outfit

We chose to be more monochromatic and less literal with red, white and blue with the guy’s outfit. Indigo is also trending color in menswear this season.
The shoes

These casual and cool Vans look great with shorts, jeans and even chinos.
The statement accessory

Red is a great color to wear on your wrist no matter the season. Balance the brightness of the Ferragamo watch by wearing darker wardrobe hues.
